The existing Account Snapshot didn’t include all information the players needed. We needed to add more information within the same amount of space and make sure it is still readable in all formats.
Also, the business was restructuring the rewards system based on the player type and level and the Account Snapshot needed to reflect this new rewards system.
First, I reviewed and organized the new information that the business owners wanted to add to the Account Snapshot. Each of the two player types, Slot and Race & Sports, would be looking for different information. Then I organized the information for each player type by player level. This came to almost 100 variations for all of the potential groups in the Account Snapshot.
The initial implementation of the Account Snapshot was a mailer sent to our players. This meant that a different piece of art was needed for each possible configuration. I designed all of the Snapshot variations that would be printed onto the mailers. It was a challenge to keep the Snapshot readable using small font sizes in the printed formats because other promotional material was also included in the mailer.
For the mobile, web, and app versions of the Account Snapshot, I broke down the snapshot into five modular pieces that could be removed or relocated based on the player type and player level. I also revised the layout based on the viewing device. I structured the web version of the layout in two columns based on the additional horizontal space. I structured the mobile and app versions of the layout vertically, which also mirrored the way the mailer was structured. These designs made it quick and easy for the players to get relevant information they needed.
